Recently we surprised Bear and Lion and their friend, Longlegs, with a trip to Paris.
“And we’re going to take the Eurostar to get there,” I told them. Last summer Bear and Lion enjoyed a sunny day going about London and we passed by St. Pancras International Station, but they couldn’t go anywhere because they didn’t have their passports on them.
“Girl Friend, we need to look for our berets to wear in Paris!” Lion said. After digging through their many clothes and accessories, we found them and then went to bed, ready for an early start the next day.
The next day, we were ready to go!
When we arrived in Paris, we saw the sights. Like in Prague, we decided to walk it, but it was so very cold. Good thing Bear and Lion and Longlegs wrapped up warmly.
We saw the Louvre…
… And the enormous amount of people lining up to go in.
It was getting windy so Bear and Lion had to put their berets away after the wind blew them off their heads. From the Louvre we made our way west through the Jardin des Tuileries.
Eventually we made it to Avenue de Champs-Elysees. We walked to the end, “Look fellas, there is the Arc de Triomphe,” we pointed.
In Paris, they have traffic lights at Bear and Lion height!
From the Arc de Triomphe we headed southwest down Avenue Kleber. We got a little lost…
… But we eventually made it to the Eiffel Tower.
After a spot of “window shopping”…
… We took the metro to our last stop of the day: The Notre Dame.
