Bear and Lion recently went to Prague. “That’s in the Czech Republic,” Bear told Lion.
Lion was very excited and dug out his red-and-white check scarf. “Girl Friend! Can I wear my check scarf to Czech?” he asked. I had to explain to him that it wasn’t that kind of check…
We got to Prague quite late, but Josef was there to pick us up. Bear was tired from the flight.
The next day we went to discover Prague. “The center of Prague isn’t too big,” I said, “so we’re going to walk around. We’re going to walk and walk and walk. Then there will be some more walking. We’ll take a little break and then we’ll walk and walk and walk.”
So we started walking to see the sights.
Bear and Lion saw a guard at the gates and wanted to take a photo, like they did with one of the guards from the Household Cavalry.
But they have a bar around the guard, so Bear and Lion posed from the sidelines.
We carried on seeing the city.
Can you see Bear and Lion?
Bear and Lion had a little sit-down before continuing on.
Then we took a riverboat cruise which was great after walking for five hours.
“Look, the Charles Bridge,” I pointed.
There are lots of bridges in Prague. Here’s another shot of the Charles Bridge from another bridge.
After going up the river, we got off and Bear and Lion saw a tram.
Bear and Lion looked at the sign and figured out we needed the number 22…
…just in time for them to scramble on.
We arrived back near the Old Town where Bear and Lion saw the Astronomical Clock. “Time for bed,” said Bear.
